OUR RESOURCE CENTER

Zfactorie Resource Center is a state of the art studio available for rental to designers/ sample makers/ students/ tailors/ costume designers etc.

It provides a professional, clean and friendly work studio where creators have all they need to create under a single roof, whether it is for the creation of a single item of clothing or accessory to an entire collection.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

  • Cutting tables

  • Dress forms

  • Industrial sewing machines such as: 

    • Basic  juki ddl 8700 straight stitch

    • Overlocks

    • Computerized bar tack machines

    • Keyhole buttonhole

    • Regular buttonhole

    • Button tacking

    • Binding machines

    • Cover stitch

    • Heat press

    • Laser cutting/ engraving

RENTAL RATES

The workspace and its resources can be rented on a monthly, weekly, daily or hourly basis:

MONTHLY - $1200 / MO

WEEKLY - $500 / WK

DAILY - $100 / DAY

HOURLY - $20/ HR (MINIMUM OF 3 HOURS IS REQUIRED)

 

A basic rental agreement covers:

 

  1. Half length of cutting table

  2. One industrial straight stitch machine

  3. One industrial overlock machine

  4. Access to dress forms and space to work.

 

Access to other machines such as buttonhole, bar tacking and other finishing services are a separate charge

TERMS OF USE

  1. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS THAT THIS IS OUR SCHOOL SPACE DURING THE EVENINGS, AS SUCH – studio is available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays (Class hours are completely blocked out and not available). After class hours at night is possible but must be discussed in advance.

  2. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS that rental of for a single individual working in the space and this may be  shared with other renters

  3. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS that except for MONTHLY RENTALS, the rental agreement only allows for one person who has booked the time and paid as per contract. Monthly RENTAL ALLOWS FOR a single assistant pass that allows for work with or without main renter

  4. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS that secure storage space is provided to the renter DURING AND ONLY DURING THE DURATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT and ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS must be removed upon the duration of the rental time

  5. THE RENTER UNDERSTANDS that this is a PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT that is shared with other professional, and no unprofessional language or behavior will be accepted in the space.
